Bem vindo ao café português!

We offer two courses for Portuguese: Portuguese from scratch (A1-) and Portuguese on the way (A2-) according to the standards of the CEFR. Each course includes 12 lessons of 2 hours. The student is also expected to do some self-study.

Portuguese from scratch (A1-)

After an introduction of the pronunciation, which is rather different from the other Romance languages, you will start speaking from the first lesson: introducing yourself, greeting, saying goodbye. During the course you will learn how to have a simple conversation about your family, your studies, your work, your house, have dinner in a restaurant and leisure. But you will also learn about differences between your own culture and the culture of Portugal and Brazil. Depending on the composition of the group, the focus will be on Portuguese from Portugal or Brazil.

The course starts 27 February, Monday at 19.00-21.00 in cafe Jour de Fete.

Portuguese on the way (A2-)

This course will deepen and expand the topics of the beginners' course, both in terms of language and culture. This course will focus on communication so that you learn talking about your personal and professional life, about your leisure and current affairs.
