Language cafe or coffee of languages?

The idea behind the concept "Cafe de las lenguas" is very simple. Learning a new language and culture can be challenging, but will definitely bring you a lot of fun. Especially when you learn in a communicative way and practice not only during the class, but also after, in an informal setting like a cafe.

At Cafe de las lenguas you will learn a foreign language:

with our professional language trainers;
explore different cultures and meet new people;
practice the language in an informal and comfortable setting.

Who can join?

Everyone! Everyone can join who likes to learn new languages and cultures. Are you a foreigner in the Netherlands and want to learn Dutch? Going on holidays to Italy? Or intrigued to learn more about Russian culture? Cafe de las Lenguas has a cup of language for you!

Who is teaching?

We are a community of language trainers in Maastricht with many years of experience in language teaching. We studied the language and culture at university level.  Most of us are native speakers and some even speak 4 or 5 languages.

What are the languages?

We offer a wide range of languages on different levels: Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese,  Russian and Turkish. Ask us if you are interested in a language, not listed here. Send us an e-mail using the contact page.

When and where?

Courses will start the third week of February in different Maastricht cafes. Not quite in the bar but upstairs in comfortable equipped conference rooms. After classes you  can start right on the spot with informal social language practice with a cup of coffee.

What does it cost?

​All courses have 12 sessions (2 hours each) and cost € 165,-.
